Beginners

While you’re studying here, we want every student to have the chance to experience the game at least once. Our beginner programme is the perfect way to get started in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you’re picking up a club for the very first time or looking to refine your technique, there’s a class for you.

Give-It-A-Go Sessions

At the beginning of each semester—and at various points throughout the year—the University of St Andrews Student Golf Club hosts Give-It-A-Go sessions: a relaxed, welcoming introduction to golf for anyone curious about the sport. These sessions are the perfect chance to try golf in a pressure-free setting, meet fellow students, and discover everything the club has to offer.
