Scott is a Senior Instructor at the St Andrews Links Golf Academy, and has an extensive background in both coaching and playing. The University currently supports four competitive teams in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championships. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th Teams are run and managed by the Golf Club committee.
Coaching for the BUCS squads is provided by the club in partnership with the St Andrews Links Academy, and delivered by PGA Qualified St Andrews Links Golf Academy instructors.
Team training happens every Wednesday from 2-4pm down by the driving range. The lesson content changes every week, and can vary from working on specific techniques at the driving range, to on-course sessions on one of the St Andrews Links’ many courses.
